SILLION is one of the few ancient cities in the region with a rich, unexplored history.

The city itself is located on a plateau 200m above sea level, so the walk to it will not be easy, but it will definitely be beautiful. And the dilapidated theater hanging over the cliff overlooking the sea is a remarkable feature of Sillion.

Sillion's history began at the same time as the "neighbors", Perge and Aspendos, in the 7th century. BC. and ended during the early Middle Ages during the reign of the Seljuk Turks in the early 13th century. It was a well-defended city with strong multi-level walls, with baths, a stadium, a market, temples, and even its own seaport.

Sillion today is a place that raises many questions, the answers to which we will look for together on our excursion.
